Rasmus has an extensive national and international experience working on large scale masterplans, building design and specific public space projects, collaborating with a wide range of clients including city authorities and private developers as well as with a distinguished list of architect and landscape architect firms.
In his career, he has worked several years for firms like White Architects, a top five European architectural firm and the urban consultant office, Gehl Architects on projects in Australia, China, US and Europe.
Today Rasmus is a part of DIS, the Danish Institute of Study abroad, teaching mainly American students in Architecture and Urban Design while running his own urban design office arki_lab on the side.
Rasmus has given many lectures around the world about urban planning on topics like the Human Scale, Waterfront quality criteria’s, Temporary Use in Urban planning, Bikeable equals Liveable and Sustainable Strategies.
His special focus is to ensure the human dimension in architecture, urban design and city planning.
