Dr Christine Satchell, Senior Research Fellow, The Urban Informatics Research Lab at QUT will look at mobile users at night, the use of innovative augmented reality layers to chart your journey based on real time feedback of those before you. It describes how our series of mobile prototypes not only keep the user safe but sync with public mobile charging stations – the flat phone of course being the thorn in the side of big mobile data.
The 7th International Urban Design Conference will be held at the InterContinental, Adelaide from Monday the 1st to Wednesday 3rd of September 2014.
The conference “Designing Productive Cities” will explore the framework required for creating today’s cities, the process of designing and shaping our cities to make them more functional, attractive and sustainable.
